Paul is a very very strong act to have on any line-up, which is why we're amped to have him on ours. With a resume that includes Live at the Apollo and Russell Howard's Good News, Paul has been a force on the circuit for a long time. A support act for Lee Mack, John Bishop, Michael McInture, Kevin Bridges and the late Sean Lock, Paul's award-winning comedy is a must catch.

★ MC: JASON NEALE ★  

Leicester native and regular Doorstep MC Jason Neale is back with us for this Leicester Comedy Festival show and we couldn't be happier. He's welcoming, cheery and very funny as well, which makes him so perfect at running the show.

★ JACK GLEADOW ★  

Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year

Jack Gleadow's approach to comedy has an almost cabaret, old-school feel to it, yet every time we're left wanting more (in between catching our breath). He's a circuit pro and knows his way around audiences, which is why we've brought him back onto our line-up for this show. 

★ RACHEL JACKSON ★  

Joining us from Edinburgh is the quick-witted Rachel Jackson who will be bringing her powerful routines to the Leicester Comedy Festival. If you can make it in Scotland, you can make it anywhere, which is why we know that she'll be a smash hit with everyone at The Doorstep.

Just North of Leicester, close to the A6, the Birstall Rugby Club venue has been a frequent host to The Doorstep Comedy Club. With it's own car park and a well-staffed bar, the venue is a real gem when it comes to hosting comedy.
